The following words are the values that LIVE NOW! stands on. Our goal is to exemplify these words in who we are, what we do and to all those we touch. The definitions below clarify what we believe each of the words represents…stand in the gap with us in making a difference!

honor [on-er] 荣誉

1. honesty, fairness, or integrity in one's beliefs and actions: a man of honor.

2. a source of credit or distinction: to be an honor to one's family.

3. high respect, as for worth, merit, or rank: to be held in honor.

humility [hyoo-mil-i-tee] 谦卑

The quality or condition of being humble; modest opinion or estimate of one's own importance, rank, etc.

love [luhv] 愛

1. a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.

2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend

3. affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor

4. the benevolent affection of God for His creatures, or the reverent affection due from them to God

trust [truhst] 信頼

1. reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

2. confident expectation of something; hope.

honesty [on-uh-stee] 正直

1. the quality or fact of being honest; uprightness and fairness.

2. truthfulness, sincerity, or frankness.

respect [ri-spekt] 尊敬

1. esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgment.

2. deference to a right, privilege, privileged position, or someone or something considered to have certain rights or privileges; proper acceptance or courtesy; acknowledgment: respect for a suspect's right to counsel; to show respect for the flag; respect for the elderly.

integrity [in-teg-ri-tee] 誠実
Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
